We swapped a few texts with Taylor tonight, who said he had a good conversation with Lance Thompson about things at Tennessee and that Thompson let him know that it was still a great situation for him in Knoxville and Taylor is still looking at the Vols closely.

yeah i've read on multiple boards UF is already confirming him...and maybe scout or rivals already did too

this coaching hire is going to be huge and i would HATE to be hamilton right now haha. we need to give him a damn break and let him work some magic

The fact he is still possibly looking to stay with the Vols even after having lost the traitorous coaches is a good sign. I bet we hold on to him if we hire a reputable coach.

ESPN said that he is probably waiting to hear from the SC staff. He is originally from So Cal and USC is his dream school. I know that Lane said he wasn't going after any UT commits but we ALL saw the phone call and have heard the Ambles/Rogers rumor thinking this kid is holding out for Kiffin calls. Crazy that all the recruits that he tried to get at UT are his players now. He's trying to cherry pick a few UT and UF commits in the coming week. This may play out worse than most Uf fans will admit but he could land Taylor, Dorsey, Green, Jones, Ambles, Rogers and Riley before NSD.

The kid didn't seem to certain on coming to UT when Kiffin was here. I can't imagine him deciding to come now.

Christian Jones, Chaz Green and since they are now coaching at a new program the coaches get to do all their in-homes over again so look for them to make major moves on Powell, Barr(watch this name), Jeffcoat and Martin. This is crazy these guys missed on recruits, now they get a second chance.

He was just on First Take, he isnt coming back to UT....Sounds like he really liked UF and will prolly end up their.

Just interviewed Taylor on First Take, ESPN show....
He said he was already going to decommit b4 Lane left, but he couldn't reach the coaches... Said when asked if he'd follow Lane to USC "Can't trust him in TN, why should I trust him at USC?"
Also made Florida sound awesome compared to UT.
Said there's too much turmoil, with the riots and all, in Knoxville, and he couldn't see himself going to UT now. To this the ESPN interviewer basically responded "good idea", and it went back to the 4 heads, who were all laughing at the interview, but didn't say why.

IMO Christian Jones father will not let him go play for Kiffin, he wont go to SC. I was a lil worried about him visiting UF, but he canceled that and now "might" take a visit to SC in the coming weeks...I think this kids going to FSU.

lol @ Taylor's interview....students painting a rock and wanting to b@#$h slap Lane isn't a riot...IIRC at the UA game he was recruiting strong for UT so i'm not sure what happen after that week but it seems odd that UT coaches would not be in contact with one of UT biggest needs.
