I don't think you can realistically maintain a defense like ours with this type of offense; your defense gets almost no rest



(this quarter alone they got about a minute's rest, had to be out there for 3 minutes, got to rest for about a minute 15, came back out, got to rest for only a minute, had to come back out for a 4 minute drive)

Again, everything here suggests Patterson made the right decision. Could've used a better play call, yes. But: going for it was correct.
