I know it’s a touchy subject, but having transfers sit out a year would slow this train down a little. That’s my opinion.
Wouldn't be surprised to see something adopted / enforced to discourage team hopping. With that said, coaches can leave anytime so unfair for students to not have that privilege too.

Not super upset about it. I think Ethan Davis has more upside and I'd rather not lose him. Add Brame in the mix as well. I think 12 personnel is a hindrance to our offense in a lot of ways. Stay in 11 personnel or 10 personnel, spread the field, and go tempo.

But if a coach leaves before said contract isn’t fulfilled. There is a buyout/payout. So not exactly the same. But I agree with some kinda change coming.

It's not a touchy subject at all since a Federal Judge ruled players must be eligible no matter how many times they transfer. I'm doubtful the NCAA will ignore his ruling.

Just as the law was passed it can be amended just as fast. No?

Sure, Congress could actually overturn the Sherman Antitrust Act or give the NCAA an Antitrust Exemption.

They almost certainly won't overturn the Act itself.

If they do provide an Antitrust Exemption, it will likely almost immediately result in college football becoming pro football with salary caps, trade restrictions, free agency restrictions, union negotiations, etc because that's what occurs when pro leagues get an Antitrust Exemption.

BTW, the Attorney General of the State of TN, likely at the request of The University of Tennessee, joined the lawsuit which made multiple transfers and immediate eligibility possible. Basically, UT wants it to be wide open.

Pesky federal Law can be amended. But I’m sure you knew that. SMH!!
You think they are going to amend law that applies to basically everyone because of one industry? The only solution is anti-trust exemption, but as you may know, the only thing worse for college athletics is having employees, and that is the only way to utilize anti-trust. SMDH, dumbass gonna dumbass.

I was shocked that we featured Kitsleman, who had 2 catches his whole career, more in the passing game. I thought Staes would be our feature TE. He was still in line to get alot of the targets next year. But I suppose we used him more as a blocker, and he wants to be used more as a receiver.
