Te'a Cooper, the Real Deal

But Holly has done an amazing job recruiting....

I really believe that next year is a make or break year for Holly and her staff. If they cannot reach the final four with the team coming in, and the same offensive issues and bad decision making still exist, there will need to be adjustments made on the coaching staff. The upcoming team will have way too much talent to be filled with constant mistakes and errors, especially on offense. There will be no excuses because the coaches know what the problems are and only they can demand the best from each player.

Diamond already working. I expect a huge upgrade on the perimeter next season. Now we need another post player.

Diamond will certainly be a difference maker both inside and outside. I am excited to see her wearing the Orange. Firing on all cylinders this team will be a beast. I would also like to get the JUCO big as another rebounder and scorer. With the right offensive strategy this team will be hard to stop. Go Lady Vols!!!!!

I really don't worry about Reynolds, Carter, or Middleton from this point on. They have a lot of competition for playing time next season so if they want to play it is up to all three to get better. JMO I think Cooper will take that point guard position and DeShields will dominate the two. Jackson may be a better option off the bench than Middleton. I like competition for time it makes everybody better.

Carter will always be a starter. Reynolds will come off the bench from now on.

She isn't tall enough, doesn't have the explosiveness or offensive game to be a wing. Nared, though she is raw, has got the size and skill set that you want in a wing. Reynolds is definitely a guard, but she isn't really ideal at either PG or shooting guard right now. We don't really have any good all-around guards. The coaches really need to sort out Carter and Reynolds.

Carter will start at 2 guard from now on and Reynolds will be 2nd team at best from now on. We have a good starting five next year and after that the talent drops off.

They got Diamond, Cooper and Russell on the team.......so that is amazing. However, last year's recruiting class is a bust other than Nared, who has some potential to be good...not great. Dunbar doesn't seem like a top tier Div I recruit but she does have great cheering abilities. :dance2:

Nared playing a lot of minutes on the wing depends on the health of Jones. If Jones is healthy then one or the other plays the 4 primarily. Both on the floor at one time, with Diamond, will make us more athletic than any team out there.

I'm amazed at how high many of you are with Jones. Although I like her defense and rebounding, she has NEVER looked comfortable on offense to me and if I had a dime for every time she had a turnover early in a game, I'd have a lot of dimes.

Because she was actually playing better before she got injured this season.

Nared is better than Jones has three years left. I play her over Jones every day.

The upside of Jones is that she's aggressive, plays defense and rebounds. She did make some shots before she was injured but her offensive IQ isn't very good. She will help this team though.

They both will be on the floor multiple times next season if healthy. Why do you have to play one and not the other? They're both 6'2", athletic, strong, and versatile. They both need to improve their skills, like every player we have, but you will be hard pressed to find three players at the 2, 3, & 4 postions that are more athletic, long, and strong as Diamond, Nared, & Jones.

Diamond is amazing, the other two have proven nothing at this level. From the hype you would think it's the second coming of the three Meeks....

Well to be fair Russell average 6.3 ppg and 5.0 rebounds shot 59.6 percent from the field in only 18 minutes per game on bad feet. So she would be around a double digit scorer and rebounder at 35 minutes per game actually based on her stats 12.2 ppg and 9.7 rebounds. We don't know if she will play better with healthy feet but with additional minutes seems to be a double double type player that can shoot 60 percent.
Cooper I agree great high school player still has to make it to the next level with her game.
