I really think we might have a special coach this time. And not Dooley "special". lol On a side note. Im on vacation and just landed in Nasville last night. I miss my home state. Will be in Knoville on Sunday and then Chattanooga on Monday. All for fun and to see friends. Can't beat it. Go Vols!

Why the number 52, why not 50, just wondering.

Maybe 50 was the goal and it was reached and then the question became 'Have you given everything you have for Tennessee today? Do you have a little more? Did you leave everything out there?' If I was the S&C coach that is what I would hit them with.

I just hope and pray that all this running and conditioning translates positively onto the field in the 4th quarter holding on to a lead....

Are you training for something or just personal workout regimen?

Personal routine. I run sprint intervals followed by a moderate pace jog then lift heavy. I was just commenting on how insane that is for them to do 52. I'm so gased by 10-12 (which is essentially 18-20 100s I guess since I'm doing 150s) I just can't imagine doing 52. Jones is pushing these boys and there's no freakin way they will not be mentally tougher next season because you gotta want it to keep going at that kind of level. Simply amazing.

running 3 miles is nothing till you see that it was all sprints. I wonder how much time they got to rest between each one ran a lot while playing sports. But when I was in the army we ran about as much as tom hanks in the forrest gump movie. we woke up and ran 2 miles one day 3 the next till we were running 10 to 15 miles a day 4 days a week and that is hard because we were always singing cadence .and in air assult school we ran 24 miles with combat boots and bdu on with a 45 to 60 pound ruck sack and and m16 in hand.i can not remember if it was air assult school or jump school or ranger training that we flew out in black hawks and marched back to our barracks started at 5 pm and when we arrived at 11 am we had walked 42 miles .which walking might not be like running sprints but when you get less than 5 hours of sleep in a week it gets hard to do any thing. my unit went through jungle training on the island of martini and they gave me 4 mri for 16 days but the French commandos would go onto a farm and catch a dozen or more chickens and eat them but I could not because it was not Kentucky fried chicken .if you can continue to run after the other team is spent it gives you a big advantage. go vols maby next they will make them do 100 suicides on the football field.

If I did this I'd probably actually lose the weight I've been thinking of losing for the past 8 years.
