You sound like our fans back when we had beaten Bama 7 years in a row under CPF or maybe the Michigan fans back when OSU couldn't beat them ever.
Things change.
Sorry guy, but with FSU and Miami getting stronger your team just doesn't have any hype now. Your hire says a lot about who you are now.
The last time Tennessee beat Florida.....
George W. Bush was President and running for re-election.
Bill Haslem was the Mayor of Knoxville.
Phil Bredesen was the Governor of Tennessee.
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow was the #1 movie at the box office.
"Goodies" by Ciara was #1 on the Pop Billboard charts.
"Days Go By" by Keith Urban was #1 on the Country Charts.
In 2004, The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
Facebook was launched in 2004. Twitter didn't exist. Neither did instagram.
Windows XP was the most recent program. Windows Vista had not been launched yet.
Playstation 2 was the most up to date video gaming system available from Sony.
Jim McElwain was the WR coach at Michigan State.
Butch Jones was the offensive coordinator at Central Michigan.
Josh Dobbs was in the first grade.
Tim Tebow suffered a broken fibula during his junior season at Nease High School.
Peyton Manning turned 28 years old, won his 2nd NFL MVP award, broke Dan Marion's record for most touchdown passes in a season (49) and had yet to make it to the Super Bowl.
The New England Patriots were Super Bowl Champions.
The Detroit Pistons were NBA Champions.
The Boston Red Sox became World Series Champions and won the World Series later in 2004 for the first time since 1918.

This is all valid points to bring up in this thread about your embarrassing recruiting class. I'm glad you took the time to point all this out since so many people were arguing about whether or not Florida is on a winning streak against UT......
It will almost be refreshing when UT fans can taunt UF fans over something other than losing to teams not named Tennessee, lunatic head coaches, poor recruiting classes or two linemen blocking each other.
I mean damn...you have to beat us one of these years right?
We call this a "straw man" argument
This entire thread is made of straw then.
What's the point of ripping a rival's recruiting class when that rival's winning streak against you is old enough to be in the 5th grade?
It's like Whoopi Goldberg ripping Heidi Klum for having a bad hair day.
Let's flip the script...Tennessee's beaten UF 10 years in a row with some of its worst teams in recent memory.
A Florida fan, coming off 3 straight losing seasons and a bowl win over an Iowa team with less team speed than Brentwood Academy, starts ripping into UT's recruiting class.
How do you respond?

Just checked rivals and noticed the Vols are ranked no. 5 and that the Gators are at no. 99. WOW.
Does anyone ever remember the vols being so lowly ranked? Even with all of our coaching turnover, I don't remember any such time we were that low.
Two programs moving in opposite directions.
