We need to move up to at least 6th this week, to have a shot.
That's not going to happen, no matter what.

More realistically:

1. Georgia
2. OSU-Michigan winner
3. One loss TCU
4. One loss Clemson or Southern Cal
5. One loss Southern Cal or Clemson
6. Two loss Oregon
7. Two loss Alabama

Win out and 8th is probably our ceiling.
10-2 and a New Years Bowl? I'll take it.

I'm still rooting for TCU to lose, because I think they are overrated.
It’s almost comical at this point how they keep making these miraculous 4th quarter comebacks. They’ll end up playing Georgia and I think the fun ends there.

Why? They win and there's a shred of validation (for what it's worth) for last Saturday.

Unless this is just more BVS self flagellation.
Why would you want validation? It only gives SC national attention and momentum in recruiting. I never pull for SEC teams we face on a yearly basis.

Miraculous comebacks are made far easier when coaches butcher every decision down the stretch playing not to lose like Aranda did last week.

For the first time this season, I will be watching football with no agendas.

Doesn't really matter any more who wins or loses in terms of the Vols season. Well, other than beating Vandy of course, but that goes without saying.

Other than that, don't care who wins or who loses. Just want to see some great games.

Pressure's off now boys, for good and bad. Enjoy your CFB weekend !

Tennessee, period.

Why punish yourself any further? It's over and we move on.

I'll watch Ohio State-Michigan more for the Heisman race than anything else. If Hooker doesn't at least get an invite to NYC it is a damn crime.
Nah def rooting for carnage even if we have no shot at the playoff

and ofcourse our own TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS!!!

We DO NOT want ND to win. A pac 12 team will make the NY6 regardless..If ND beats USC they could get ranked high enough to be selected in a NY6 Bowl, which probably hurts an SEC team. Now we can pull for USC to lose the Pac 12 championship but absolutely not 5o ND. We don't need them sliding into the NY6 conversation.
