Does Tebow come out this year, and if he does will he be a Heath Shuler or a Matt Ryan?

I predicted Shuler was not a NFL type QB, and Tebow reminds me a lot of him. No doubt he's a bigger load to bring down, but still similar to the congressman from NC. But, on the other hand I've never seen anyone with as much poise to stand in the pocket and wait for receivers to come open without flinching as Tebow. I'm on the fence.

I think Tebow comes out this year only because Mullen is leaving. I don't know if he would want to risk his draft stock and learn a new offense when he's only going to be there one more year.

I think he stays another year. I just do not see him as a pro QB but possibly a TE. Of course I could be dead wrong on both parts.

Tebow will stay. We will be hiring within; therefore, Tebow will not have to learn another offense. Same offense.

I believe he is gone. He's got nothing left to prove at this level(that is until they beat OK). He's got the potential to be a Tom Brady like QB, like it or not. I hate it but cannot help but admire his skills both on the field and on the sideline.

ok well that's a different story. I was not aware Florida would go that route.
It is obviously not happened yet, so there's still speculation. BUT they are talking about hiring within and going with either Billy Gonzalez (WR's coach) or Steve Addazio (O-Line Coach) as offense coordinators or co-offensive coordinators. Gonzalez does most of the play calling in the red zone, so he is the likely candidate. We'll see. Maybe Dave Clawson?:)

Totally disagree. I've heard several people who supposedly know this kind of stuff say that he is definitely not an NFL QB. His pocket presence is lacking and his downfield accuracy is basically bad.

They see him more in the TE roll.

I think Gonzalez would be a good fit. Any word on whether or not Mullen is going to coach the NC game?

He basically has Byron Leftwich's throwing motion. I can't tell if he will make an NFL QB or not but he will have to do something with that slow, drawn out release. I will say he is one of the best CFB players I've ever watched. He really flourishes in his system and is as tough as a block wall.

I was looking back at Tebow on Rivals. He got an offer from USC in 05 recruited by yours truly Lane Kiffin.
