I might be more likely to overlook personally but I would certainly still feel it was too much and wouldn't defend it when others brought it up. As I said shedding a tear is one thing, sobbing openly like you lost your first pet on the sidelines is different.

Did Matt Leinart cry? Did he? Did He? NO, his team had the label of being the "greatest team ever assembled" and they lost a heart breaker to Texas in the National Championship. But did he cry? No, he acted like a friggin MAN! Stop making excuses for Tebow, stop it, you are embarrassing yourselves!

I would think that Tebow would have learned to deal with loss before now. After all I am 99.9% sure his mother was that mean chick from 101 Dalmatians and I just know a lot of his puppies had to disappear.

Put youself in the same shoes....what would YOU do? Understand he is a better person than 99% of those of us on this site. YOU in HIS shoes! Right or wrong/religious or not.......He is different when it comes to faith. Why knock him for that! When a player points at the sky after a TD, thanks God for a win, STUPID...God does not care who wins/loses, scores /or not!

Don't bash a man for HIS faith or emotions on the field! You don't know what HE feels!

You don't know what he feels either. For all we know he could be the biggest hypocrite to walk the earth. To pretend you know what others don't and then go on further to suggest he is better than 99% of any of us is silly, you simply cannot know that.

Who talked about religion, I didn't! I'm knocking him because he didn't act like a man.

I was rated in the top 15 prospects in the state of Florida going into my senior year of high school, I'd won two state championships, been all-state twice, and was being offered by the biggest colleges in the country, including UT. Midway through my senior year, I suffered a neck injury during practice. I was paralyzed for 4 hours and spent the next 2 days in the hospital. Upon meeting with the neurologist, I was informed that my football career was OVER.

My future in doubt, my college dream over, my dreams of running through that "T" shattered, all that I knew and loved gone after a freak accident. Did I cry, NOOOOOOOO. Know why, because I'm a MAN. And there are bigger things than football. And I'm thankful for the time I did have in pads and cleats!

Tebow is a WUSSY PERIOD

Yep, 100%... but as I said, I'm thankful, and one door closes, another one opens... I'm successful, I'm happy, and I still have many great years to look forward to. I don't like to tell life stories on here, the point I was making is that real men cry too, but there had better be a damn good reason and IT SHOULD NEVER BE IN PUBLIC:)

I did. And I am not bashing Tebow, he was a great college player who I feel let emotions get the best of him sometimes, Saturdays sobbing would be one of those times.

I also like how you overlooked my post in response to your "Tebow = much better than any of you" garbage.

But...you had a bad break..and I am sure you have done great things in your life since then. But don't say YOU or I know what his emotions are. That should not have anything to do with the man he is or the caliber of player he is. But to say that a MAN that cries is a "WUSSY" is IG-NO-RANT! Especially when the MAIN goal is to win a NC and it does not work out...and YOU are the MAIN man!

Tearing up after such a disappointment is understandable, many men have, but bawling like a 5 year old on the floor in aisle 5 of the toy department at Walmart is ....well just embarrassing. There were other players on that team that wanted to win just as badly as Tebow but I didn't see them acting like a spoiled brat. I have to hand it to him for giving props to Bama in his interview but geez dude.. grow a pair.

What about his senior game at Florida? I'm pretty sure he was dying to win that one.

In the pros, well ask him how he feels about the Patriots?

Tebow should have saved it for the locker room, and not, ONCE AGAIN, make it all about Tim Tebow. You don't think his team wanted it just as bad?
