Tebow not the brightest bulb in the box...

Dude if you think no one was talking about Tebows future in the NFL until after his junior season you're an idiot. Seriously. Or you just don't want to concede a point, I'm not sure which.

Good day.

Good day.

Which point are you trying to make?

First you said "every" Gator fan was talking about how great TT would be in the NFL 3 years ago.

Now you change your tune to suggest that some Gator fans were guilty making that claim, which I would agree is much more plausible.

Which is it?

Didn't you "note the hyperbole" in my first post? :eek:lol:

why so much hate for his believes in here?

Because Tebow puts his beliefs in everyone's face and not every person agrees with him. That includes both Christians and non-Christians who think he should just shut up.

You need to step off.

These good people have waited four years to bash TT and openly wish for him to fail at the next level.

Let them revel in their moment. :yahoo:

Off the mark. I don't give a rip what he does at any level going forward. I'm just saying the overblown gibberish about best college player ever, smartest athlete ever, NFL future us overdone. The kid is a specialty player.

I don't have a problem with religion, but I do have a problem with idiocy, and the snakehandling, 6,000-year-old-Earth wing of Christian Protestantism is only half a step up from the Mormons and the Scientologists in the basic ludicrousness of some of the things they believe.

Has Tebow ever said that?

Seriously, I've just never heard him say that.

The only thing I've ever read that Tebow himself said specifically was something against evolution. But you don't have to read much about his father's ministry to know which end of the theological pool they're swimming in. I grew up in it; I recognize it. Actual snakehandling is an exaggeration, of course, but they are probably charismatics; they believe in an absolute literal interpretation of every word the Bible (except, of course, for the single word "wine" when Jesus makes it out of water); they believe that evolution is a fraud and that the world is only 6,000 years old; they believe that just about everybody in the world except themselves is going to hell. It's a Chick tract worldview. And I've got no use for anybody whose worldview is a cartoon.

Interesting.

Glad you figured it all out.

You've got it exactly backwards. I was brought up in an extremely fundamentalist church where they had everything figured out. Eventually I realized they didn't.

It's perfectly possible to be a Christian and not be a deliberate idiot about the science that makes literally everything about modern life possible. People like the Tebows are being stupid on purpose.

I agree and our backgrounds are probably similar.

I just don't think the Tebows are as fanatical as you say, at least in the crazy Jesus spoke King James English way anyway.

Full disclosure - I do not believe in evolution but nor do I believe in a 6,000 year old earth either.

50 questions, 12 minutes. All these questions are relatively easy, people seem to miss the time aspect of this test making it difficult.

Tebow majored in family, youth, community service, 3.66 gpa. Probably didn't improve his analytical skills a lot in college.
