You act as if UF doesn't campaign for him or as if his notoriety doesn't influence this.

His amazingly lame major lends to this silly community service thing.

perhaps his gpa, on-field performance, leadership and citizenship influence this a little, too?

not sayin', just... sayin'

Question for those critical of Tim Tebow: If he played for your team wouldn't you defend him against those criticisms you're now making?

Sans the football stuff, he's a mediocre student, in a ridiculous major at a decent school.

The gpa, leadership and citizenship are hardly meritorious.

yup, won't give up til you find some way to tear him down. sign of a true loser.

im sure no ut player has ever had a major easier than pre-med.

:pepper:
Sorry but the sign of a true loser is a troll that continues to inhabit a rival's board for no apparent reason other than to continue to defend said trolls favorite player or team.

I think Tim Tebow is a better guy than Tiger Woods, so far.

:eek:lol:. I think this was respectable of Tebow. However, on other occasions I think he has tried to bring media attention around himself. Especially the "Apology to the fans" speech. Save that for the locker room or a pep rally. Or all the chest bumping in games. Is he a good guy? Yeah, I think so. Is he a saint and perfect? An emphatic no.

Enter the: "He did it because there were cameras there" or the "He did it because she's cute and he wanted to dispell rumors that he's gay" or the "He thought it would help get him Heisman votes" crowd.

He's just a good hearted guy. Give up on it already.

I'll go with that, I have to say, Tebow walks the walk and talks the talk as well. I wish him the best in the NFL.
