Tebow will NOT be the Superman some think!

No doubt there will be a learning curve, but Tebow makes plays when he is on the field. There is something to be said for that. Not many guys at that age can consistently make plays. Most LBs in the conference will not grow to his size during their entire careers.

His size and elusiveness make him unique, but I would think for his sake that they would try to limit his contact a little bit once he becomes an every down QB.

Say what?? He's only 6'3 225 isn't he? One of our LB's is 6'3 240 while another is 6'2 215 (RS freshman)..Hell, I'm about his size..

Hmmmm . . . do you think you could read a QB draw?

More like 235. He threw 225lbs on the bench 40 times during Spring practice (13 more then AJ Hawk at NFL combine). He is a man child and probably already the toughest player on Florida's team.

He's going to need to be tough taking that many hits in the SEC week after week.

Probably not... But I could probably jump on a pile and poke someone in the eye. :)

I've got this weird image in my head of a Defensive Coordinator signalling the "Curly Howard/Slap the Face/Double Eye Poke" play in.

:lolabove: I bet I could add a ball strip in at the end and really make a name for myself. Maybe I'll just call myself T-Bone..

We keep saying that, but I had pretty good authority on the option jump all over me for saying that one time. He made the point to me that you hardly ever see an option QB get hurt running the option. QBs usually get hurt when they are standing in the pocket or running for their life when protection breaks down.

Tell that to Jamelle Holieway or Troy Aikman.

...of course, I guess that could be because so many got hurt running the option that they all went conventional.
