Miami is not really legit competition. Shredded UF? Yeah right. Sorry Boyd is better and has proven it by beating better competition his whole career.

Winston>Boyd>Bridgewater. Of course this is all opinions anyway. Bridgewater played like crap against UCF. Which was his only legit team he played against.

NFL GMs disagree with you. Just about every mock draft out there has Bridgewater as the first QB taken in the 2014 draft.

Hmmmm same thing was said about guys like Andre Ware and Ryan Leaf. But the NFL GM's are always right. Those same GM's let Tom Brady slip to the 6th round. You're right though, we should always trust NFL GM's.

Ware was a system QB in college who produced ridiculous numbers in a run and shoot offense. See also David Klingler. To your point Ware was drafted high in the first round.

I don't have a crystal ball to know whether or not Teddy will be successful at the next level, but given a choice between Boyd and Bridgewater I'll take Bridgewater all day every day.

Virtually every mock draft has Bridgewater as the overall #1 pick, the first QB taken, and/or picked well ahead of Boyd. It's all an I exact science for sure, but most GMs and draft experts project Bridgewater to be a better QB than Boyd.

Agree that Bridgewater hasn't played a ton of competition outside of a Florida last year, but he's been very impressive throwing the ball whenever I've seen him. Last game I saw Boyd play a lot was vs Fla St.... not good...17-37 156yds, TD, 2ints

And who can forget the home runs that NFL GM's hit with the likes of Leaf, Klinger, Pryor, Smith, Couch, Leinart, and Russell?

I'll wait until TB's 3rd year before I consider him a sure thing...or a bust.

Never a good idea to buy the goods from a group that has proven they can pick losers just as adeptly as they pick winners.

It seems like a huge gamble to take him number one. Practically ever NFL QB thats worth a dime spent four years in college .
