Black list me. Ban me!! please for what im about to say. Revoke my Vol card. Each is entitled his or her opinion...im sorry Tee Martin is a Vol Legend. He and his family deserve support. The very fact that he flew all the way across the country to entertain a lateral offer at our program when we, ladies and gentlemen, are not very good. USC is a very elite program just now.

You have no right or reason to attack he or his legacy. If you are one admonishing him as not "VFL" or taking his not wanting to move across country with two youngs kids for no pay raise are crazy. NUTS!

if youre too young or immature to remember THIS, great of tennessee greats.

From what I understand, he would have been getting a raise here. From the way it was said, it would have been a handsome contract here. We tried, we reached out, wasn't the time for Tee to move jobs. I am ok with that and other should be too, it is his life to live, he should be able to do just that without immature people trying to slander him.

USC is a crappy football team. Elite teams are not in the sun bowl. Tee is getting way too much credit.

And I could coach Woods and Lee and my granny can recruit at SC. Good grief

at least dont attack him. u can attack the behavior.

tee didnt handle it well, he seemed to be soaking up all the attention.

nevertheless. hes tee martin. how many of us have a friggin street named after us?

I don't know about Tees life really but someone on here said his wife was kinda shocked how much love he got. Maybe too shocked. She would have been in his shadow. Someone said she wanted to be a star well he is one. If we did not love him so much we would not have reacted. Oh, yea, and Stiffen sucks. :popcorn:

Well at least the "fans" aren't dog cussing CBJ for not reaching out or offering Tee.

Maybe this was the plan all along?

Sorry to say... TM says no to TN... No big deal to me. Also, in T's defense... Would you rather live in Sunny Southern California or Knoxville? If you've been to the beaches of Cali you know what I mean. :thumbsup:

Here is what I think it is. USC is a private school so his salary is not public, I believe the offer was no more or maybe less than he is making now. If so how would you feel? I think CBJ never really wanted him so he could bring his Cinncy cronies in but to the public he made the offer. This is what I truly think happened.

He was a great ball player. I used to hang out with some guys who played on the 98 team. Just because someone is a great athlete doesn't mean they care about vol fans or ut. More than a few came to UT because they knew UT was going to play in big time games and they were going to be noticed.
