I have been to the beaches and I will take TN every time.Have no hard feelings toward Tee tho..VFL

Tennessee is a train wreck right now!!!! And will be so for the foreseeable future. Tee made the right decision. The blame is on UT for not agreeing to 3 year deal and for being a train wreck.

Would you honestly come back to a program that never has shown you any respect. for gods sake the man won a national championship and he has a street on the backside of the stadium. Also, i am a former WR, and honestly never saw one pic of him highlighted in the complex.

Only reason I think this was a krap decision by Tee..

His twin sons that would have had a chance to spend more time with their dad if he took the job...

If it was me, I would take a lesser job just to be near my kids.. let alone a lateral move..JMO

Ok I agree with what T accomplished at UT a d he is a VFL in our minds. However, that is not why he flew out here. It was a business move and was to get him a raise at USC. I don't blame him for that, it's the way it works in college football today. I also don't blame him for not coming. Lets move on now we have JG and he has done as much for Tennessee as anyone and represents us well now. So lets be thankful for what we have. It is very probable that Kiffen and his staff will be looking for another job after next season anyway!

From what i heard on TSR today he makes well over 400k our offer was around 325k. Some quoted him as saying the offer was laughable.

Here is what I think it is. USC is a private school so his salary is not public, I believe the offer was no more or maybe less than he is making now. If so how would you feel? I think CBJ never really wanted him so he could bring his Cinncy cronies in but to the public he made the offer. This is what I truly think happened.

tee did what he had to to keep mom happy it is a business decision no he does not hate tennessee, , but i do think it makes us (tennessee) look bad and no matter what you think he is taking recruits from us,:realmad: as for big mouth pat fiorde is a ass and he can kiss my orange ass!!!

L.A. is in the nice place to visit but wouldn't want to live there category for me. I would choose Tennessee anyday.

Tee is a grown man and has to make his own calls. I do believe that he should have had his family on board before making the trip because publicly it does appear that he flew across country because he couldn't spit in our face from L.A. Bad PR move for him locally imo.

People need to quit saying it was a lateral move. I saw some posts that said it was the same amount of money but if it was that would buy him a helluva a lot more here than L.A. so not lateral in terms of compensation.

I wish Tee the best after all he is our only national championship qb of the BCS era. It has always bugged me that he doesn't get more recognition for his accomplishments here.

With that being said, I hope Kiffin goes belly up next year at USC and that they do not let the proverbial door hit his punk *ss on the way out.
