It;s is It's...moran
I know, my friend! I wasn't being rude to you either. Just playing along. Also, been here far longer than 2 weeks, just never participated before. Thanks for having me.Lol...........2 things.
1. I wasnt being rude to @Vol in Buckeye Land ...he's been around for a minute and I enjoy his posts. He rarely misspells and I assumed he was still waking up and made an error. Now I realize he just forgot blue font and it's funny.
2. Two weeks here? Correct me when you got more than a handful of posts friend.
I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched a halftime show, and I’d wager I’m not a minority. At one time, those clips were your only exposure to some of the other games happening. Now that there are twenty games on TV every weekend and you can easily watch multiple games at once with streaming services, etc., halftime shows are obsolete.I hate to break it to you, but very few people want to watch a marching band at halftime. People would rather see clips from other games.

You're not. My daughter plays in the Auburn band and we have to go to the games to see her. Believe me. I commiserate. Not only the Tennessee Volunteers football team, but also the Pride of the Southland Band will be making their way into the Horseshoe for the first time. Rarely does UT play a school with a band on the same planet as the Pride, and now we get to see them matched with another top 5 band program. Both are widely acknowledged as two of the best—perhaps the two very best—in the country. The only better matchup than the teams themselves might be the bands.
ESPN, get your head out of your rear and TELEVISE HALFTIME!
This has been me shouting into the void, thank you.
UT is only taking a pep band due to the limited number of tickets the CFP allotted to the visiting teams during the first round games. This was NOT due to an OSU decision. Not only the Tennessee Volunteers football team, but also the Pride of the Southland Band will be making their way into the Horseshoe for the first time. Well ain’t that a bunch of bollocks. Sorry to the fans who’ll be at the game on both sides, as well as to the Pride. We were robbed.UT is only taking a pep band due to the limited number of tickets the CFP allotted to the visiting teams during the first round games. This was NOT due to an OSU decision.
So, the purpose of the blue font is to distinguish an intentional word play funny from that of a true moran? Pure Guinness! Is there a specified time that a newb must wear their black stripe and wait to call-out a "made" veteran poster, even in jest? I'm a connoisseur of good natured sarcasm and enjoy seeing some of the best in the business at work here!QB's with pocket presents, don't forget pre-Madonna's is another one along the lines of morans. Can't remember them all but they're amusing VN lols' for sure.
halftime shows might not be as important as they once were, but broadcasting the marching band isn’t going to get more eyes on the screen, I promise that much.I couldn’t tell you the last time I watched a halftime show, and I’d wager I’m not a minority. Actually it would. Some of us walk away from the TV as soon as halftime begins and returns at the beginning of the third quarter. The talking heads offer very little intelligence to the sports world.halftime shows might not be as important as they once were, but broadcasting the marching band isn’t going to get more eyes on the screen, I promise that much.
