Tell me the key to winning the Florida game

I think the key will be forcing Leak out of the pocket otherwise his comfort zone...I think we can get pressure on him to get him to move out of that pocket...tell me what u think.

Try and contain them, play for breaks. Blitz on Leak when it's prudent, but not at the sake of dropping coverage. Their WR's could easily burn us.

On offense, we will just have to flat-out open it up. I don't think we will be able to defend Florida's offense that greatly so we will have to make some big plays. Riggs is gonna have to tear it up. If we don't get 200+ on the ground, I think it could be hard.

Pound the ball, play field position and shorten the game.

On defense, our front 4 needs to own the line of scrimmage and disrupt.

I think Allen vs. Chad Jackson is the biggest matchup of the game. Jackson has byfar been the best WR on the team accounting for all the team's WR Tds so far.

Shut him down then they are definitely handcuffed b/c their run game has been anything, but spectacular.

Come again? Deshawn Wynn is a fine RB. He was suspended from their game against Wyoming, and he picked up 101 yards and 2 TD's against Louisiana Tech. Florida's run game is a-ok. They have a balanced offense.

I personally think it would be better to keep Florida's offense in front of us and slow it down rather than explode to try and stop it... Because if they explode back, we are screwed.

like someone said force him out of the pocket, and id be willin to bet there gonna try to run somewhat.. so we have to stop it without put 8 in the box. i think we will see a different chris leak as far as running the ball... i think he's alot more mobile then people think. defense has to win this win. i dont beleieve they can stop us offensively if we play like we know how!

i think that right there says it all. as dumb as it sounds, this game is usually decided by a play here or there.

the fewer the turnovers the better. and we must out-rush them. i would like to see us rush for at least 250 to win this game. MUST.

He is going to have to. He should have been in longer in the uab game but Fulmer thought he had the game on lock. He will get almost 40 carries.

No but if we run 3 RB's, we can pull it off. Maybe 125 for Riggs, 75 for Yancey and 50 for whoever is 3rd string.

riggs doesnt have to be the only one carrying the ball. we have 4 other backs who are capable of helping riggs out. we need them all to step up.

yeah but it would be nicer to see Riggs just deystroy the gators like the likes of Travis stephens.

I think Riggs will get atleast 25-32 carries. He alone must rack up atleast 150+yards. I havent checked the depth (injury status) its still early, but a big game like this would be a GREAT time to have Foster, Williams, or Hardesty to cut loose.

Anderson along with most of the team didnt have a great game the 3rd But he's a bruiser and needs to have his "A" game.

Special Teams has got to help our Offense and Defense out in every angle of the game. We absolutely must cash in on any misfortune UF has!
