I don't think they are a bad baseball team so stop trying to get me to change my mind it won't work.
What is your definition of a bad baseball team then? Maybe they wouldn't be bad in the Sun Belt, but in the SEC, they are bad.
Surely even you, as orange-colored glasses positive you are, have to see the pre-SEC record was a facade.
We are a bad team with good talent. However, those of us who have been around for TR's tenure realize he is incapable of bringing a team together to produce consistent wins. He is a terrible coach--period. He has the ability to take good talent and screw it up. I feel bad for the guys on the team but that's just the way it is--and has been--the entire TR era.I'm not going to deny right now they are a bad team in the SEC because they are at the bottom with the worst division record along with Auburn, and Kentucky.
But I don't believe they are a bad team as in it's impossible for them to start winning SEC series.
Vols have not won a division series, Gamecocks have not lost a division series, and a series this year. I'm optimistic that changes this week.

Raleigh does have the the ability to take real talent (Hawn, etc) and take it all the way to 11th place and replace them with "Virgil" from Copper Basin.
He is also expert at taking mediocre and lesser talent and nurture them and feed them until the days comes to throw them under the bus like lambs waiting to be made into gyros.
Looking at Todd, he LOVES gyros
