it's amazing how places like UNC, Duke, etc have been able to survive with all those lazy, worthless McD AA's on their roster. They clearly need more Bradshaws to be successful.

I'm just waiting for Cal to come to his senses and quit recruiting Wall and use that scholarship to steal Skylar McBee away from us.

That's because all of the McDonalds alamericans want to go to UNC or Duke. We take whoever we can get. Plus, Duke hasn't done too great in the tournament in the tournament in the past 5 years, the haven't got past the sweet 16.

Take a look at how many McDonald's All Americans were on the UNC national championship team....then please re-think your assertion that McDonald's All American recruits have no interest in working hard as a general rule. We have one McDAA on our team right now - not a very large sample size. Recruiting highly ranked players is not our problem - recruiting players that want to play hard and getting them to play hard through your coaching are other issues, regardless of the number of stars or their McDAA status. I think you're barking up the wrong tree.

We got to 2 sweet sixteens with the hard working 3* guys. These McDonalds Alamericans think they can just show up for the game, not play defense, and loaf. Nothing makes me madder than people that won't get in there and do the dirty work. That's why I loved Dane Bradshaw, he wasn't the best athlete, but he made up for it with hustle. Why do you think Villanova is so succesful? They get the guys that fit their style of game. Maybe we should start doing that.

OT: how bout those Braves!!!
Bradshaw "made up for it?" What part of his game makes you say that?
