There are currently 5 SEC teams with one conference loss and they all have HUGE games in November.

Georgia/Tennessee
Georgia/Ole Miss
LSU/Bama
Texas/TAMU

I feel like most years the SEC has already been decided by this point and the games just have to play out as expected but we truly have no idea who will be in the SECCG this year. You can make a case for/against any of these teams.

So which 2 teams do YOU see making it to the SECCG?

I'll go first ....

Georgia - NO! They are a super beatable team and given that they still have to get through Ole Miss and Tennessee. They are losing one of those games 💯

Texas - NO! Texas has two road games they can easily lose to Arky or TAMU. I think they drop one of those

Tennessee NO! This should be a YES but I don't see UT beating Georgia on the road and even if they did I predict we turn right around and lose to Candy a-la 2022 South Carolina.

TAMU - YES! Remaining schedule plays very well for them and I 💯 believe they can beat Texas at home at the end of the year.

LSU YES! LSU is sitting pretty damn well the rest of the year. They will beat the brakes off Bama at night in Death Valley. The only trip up game for them I think is pesky Florida but now that UF is down to their 3rd string QB I think LSU will escape and make it to the SECCG.

I should have figured this would have been the response. It's a solid well though out post but thin skinned people can't handle hearing things they don't like 😂

A team that goes into Athens and beats Georgia is NOT losing to Vanderbilt with an SECCG and playoff appearance on the line. That’s absolute nonsense.

Now if we go to Athens and get whipped and pack the season in….yes it’s possible to lose to Vanderbilt.

Tell that to Bama!

Lol can we just play the games and see what happens?

The bama team we beat and should have beat more soundly than we did?
The same Bama that beat Georgia and lost to Vandy. That game has ALL the markings of 2022 South Carolina. It would be disingenuous to just pretend like we beat Georgia and then automatically walk over Vandy.

Yeah, I get that but it seems like you've already been there and are back with bad news.
Lol this whole thread was SUPPOSED to be people giving their predictions for November but everyone just wants to be a sad Sally about it because I said ONE thing they don't like! Someone give a prediction for these games!

Those are the 2 worst teams in this bunch.

I got Texas-Georgia in the SECCG. aTm takes its 3rd loss from Texas. Ole Miss takes its 3rd loss from Georgia.

So the SEC playoff contenders will be Georgia (1 loss), Texas (1 loss), Tennessee (2 losses), Alabama, and LSU. Loser of Bama-LSU is eliminated.

So that means, in order for 2-loss Tennessee to get in, the CFP committee has to take 4 SEC teams OR pick the 2-loss Vols over the 2-loss LSU-Bama winner OR the LSU-Bama winner takes a 3rd loss. Could LSU lose to Florida or Vanderbilt? Could Bama lose to Auburn?

People are responding negatively because you adopted a real nega-vol attitude.

Here, I'll give you a prediction for these games:

Vols win out. We're in Atlanta.
UGa beats Ole Miss, but loses to the Vols. They miss Atlanta this year.
Texas wins out. They join the Vols in the SEC CG.
A&M loses to Texas. They rode a relatively easy schedule most of the season, but that ride ends when Texas comes to their house.
LSU loses to Bama, and are eliminated.

In the SEC CG, dubbed the UT v UT game by the media (damn their lying moufs), the Vols win a hard-fought match by like, 2 points. End up with the #1 or #2 seed in the playoffs, depending on how Oregon closes out.

Go Vols!

Ya but it's not about who the best teams are it's about the remaining schedule and who will win those games getting to the SECCG

Dont exactly get the A&M thing. already lost 2 games, 1 sec game where they were soundly beaten by 24 points to SC. Am I missing something.
Their schedules the next 2 games are easy and all they have to do is beat Texas at home which is totally possible that TAMU team is good at home. They and LSU have the easiest chance of all to be a 1 loss SEC team. Their loss to ND doesn't count toward making it to the SECCG.

Disagree. A&M got their lunch money taken by South Carolina, and Texas should win out easily.

If and that seems to be a legitimate if—our offense can click the way it is capable we can beat every team on our schedule from here on out, but we know that will be a tough task. Georgia will be tough as always. Vanderbilt wants to beat Tennessee more than any team every year and that includes going to a bowl. JH better bring Tennessee to Nashville with the mentality of this is a life or death game because Vanderbilt will let everything hang out for sure. Their fans are insufferable, but when they are winning, which is rare, they’re unbearable. Of course there’s only a handful of them so that makes it easier.

That's the problem, we're so used to just taking Vandy for granted that you can have a let down and get smoked. Anyone that doesn't take Vandy seriously this year is asking to get beat; especially if we continue to wait until the 2nd half to start scoring. If we can beat UGA in Athens then we will be in the driver's seat. Gotta play all 60 minutes though.

Not so fast, my friend. A&M is neither as good as the LSU game made them look nor as bad as yesterday made them look. It’s a week-to-week season. I’d say there’s about a 60% chance TU comes out of Kyle Field with a dub.

I’m ok with it. The more we can muddy the waters and give other teams losses the better it bodes for us. We need these ACC teams to lose a few more as well.
