There are currently 5 SEC teams with one conference loss and they all have HUGE games in November.
Georgia/Tennessee
Georgia/Ole Miss
LSU/Bama
Texas/TAMU
I feel like most years the SEC has already been decided by this point and the games just have to play out as expected but we truly have no idea who will be in the SECCG this year. You can make a case for/against any of these teams.
So which 2 teams do YOU see making it to the SECCG?
I'll go first ....
Georgia - NO! They are a super beatable team and given that they still have to get through Ole Miss and Tennessee. They are losing one of those games
Texas - NO! Texas has two road games they can easily lose to Arky or TAMU. I think they drop one of those
Tennessee NO! This should be a YES but I don't see UT beating Georgia on the road and even if they did I predict we turn right around and lose to Candy a-la 2022 South Carolina.
TAMU - YES! Remaining schedule plays very well for them and I believe they can beat Texas at home at the end of the year.
LSU YES! LSU is sitting pretty damn well the rest of the year. They will beat the brakes off Bama at night in Death Valley. The only trip up game for them I think is pesky Florida but now that UF is down to their 3rd string QB I think LSU will escape and make it to the SECCG.
