I don't expect 'Bama to lose. I bleed Orange but, I believe 'Bama is the best team in the SEC. They lost to Vols and Vandy but, those were fluke losses (like the Vols' loss to the Hogs) . The way they manhandled LSU shows how they have matured during the season. Tide is better than either of those Texas teams. Vols need to run the table to get in.

Heather Dinich, one of the smartest and most studious college football analysts in the biz, says SEC COULD get a 3-loss team in (referring to 'Bama). I want to see the Vols take down the Dawgs and then go to Atlanta to take down the 'Horns.

Alabama’s loss to Vanderbilt was fluky. In their loss to us, we flat out dominated them, even with 3 crucial turnovers. Fumbled on the opening drive that would have set us up in prime scoring position, Moore thrust in there after the Nico injury and just throws it up, and Nico inexplicably not throwing the ball away in the red zone. If we take care of the football then we win that game rather easily.

If Vols don’t beat Georgia, we need to stop pretending this is one of the 12 most worthy teams. We haven’t passed the eye test since Kent State. I know that will make many people irate but just go prove it Saturday!

Won’t matter after we send Georgia to their grave. We will vault to #2, worst case #3 but will be inline for the 2 seed.

Elimination Game. Sure. But it is 50/50%.
Works against us schedule but does it really. It never boils down to one or two games, it is always about the grind of SEC Competition.
The defense is a plus less than 20 points in a game. Finish the season.
Healthy Nico helps, but let's see what Gas Pipe can do and how the coaching staff handles this adjustment.
The biggest hurdle regardless of a win/loss is the Committee. Can't fix that. Eliminated GA and FSU last year from the playoff so anything can happen.

We beat UGA, they are out and we are in with line of sight to the SECCG.
We lose to UGA, it sets up a 4 or 5 way tie for the SECCG and we might be on the outside of that, which would put our CFP hopes in great danger.
We get blown out by UGA and the committee will take that as a sign and we drop off the CFP radar.

Definitely NOT one for TN. Way too much can happen. ND could lose, Ole Miss could lose, Texas and Texas A'M could lose. Way too much football left.

Stop helping to push this narrative. It is BS and you aren’t doing us any favors. At potentially 10-2, how is UT any worse than 10-2 Ole Miss? How is a loss to 5-4 Arkansas on the road worse than Ole Miss losing to 3-6 Kentucky AT HOME? Not to mention the second Ole Miss loss to LSU is worse than a potential UT loss to Georgia. Our win over Bama is just as good as their win against UGA.

I didn’t call you anything. Saying that UT could make it to the SECCG and get knocked out of the playoff by a loss in that game was stupid. People of average, below average, and above average intelligence say stupid things all the time. It unires us all as human beings.
