This is not a knock on Danny White or the Vols.... BUT when is all of this success going to result in National Championships? Softball has a shot right now, Baseball blew it last year with probably the best team in the history of college baseball. The postseason history of Rick Barnes is well known, and UT was 1 win away against SC from playing in the CFB playoffs. I get it, these programs are very good and DW deserves all the accolades and then some. But has any UT program won a national title since the Lady Vols in 2008? Close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades (and corn hole as my kids now tell me), but hopefully we can get several of these programs to the top of the mountain!
