Tennessee basketball players arrested - Tyler, Goins, Cam, and Bryan

Look on the bright side, at least it wasnt football again, that would have caused all hell to break loose.

I vote we kick all four of them off the team. Who's with me?

I mean honestly, how stupid do you have to be?

I would have no problems with it. The only person I would really hate to see go is Tatum because he hustled every second he was on the floor.

*sigh*...

Even when we do something right, we decide to screw it up.

wtf were they thinking? Hopefully the charges will be dropped, but probably not. This is just pathetic.
I hope they are not dropped....they all need to be kicked off the team.....its hard to imagine any other school has as many stupid and Dumbass players as UT!

Why, when you don't know exactly what's going on? The key here is the gun. If it was just weed, then there's still an issue, but it's not a killer. Plus, some college kid smoking weed doesn't really bother me outside of the fact that it's illegal (a misdemeanor). I don't think all four will be gone, especially since this is the first (known) issue for all four while at UT. Tyler had an issue while at Iowa.

Otherwise, this isn't all that surprising. It's not as if we are dealing with choir boys here and it was the same when I was at UT. Hell, I sat across from Travis Henry in a class (I still don't know how he made it into a 400 level history course). Athletes and kids doing dumbass stuff is like death and taxes.

wesrucker The #Vols were stopped for speeding at 11:27 am. Two guns, drugs and open alcohol container in the car.

wesrucker One of the guns had altered serial number, which is a felony charge, per KPD. CamTatum was the driver.

TWO GUNS WTF???

Thats what blows my mind. Whats wrong with smokin in their dorm like we..... I mean some people I know used to?

Exactly. I'm fine with weed, I even it enjoy it occasionally, but come on. Driving around with on New Years Eve with weapons in the car as well. Also the fact that you are a big time student athlete. I guess the example the football supplied just wasn't enough.

Idiots.

This kind of stuff just shows me they don't give a ****. They don't care about the team, they don't care about this huge opportunity and privilege they have to play basketball and get a degree, and they don't care about their future.

It's just all around stupid. I don't care about the weed, I have zero problems with it. But why are they driving around with it and weapons on New Years Eve of all nights? They are just asking for it. This coming after plenty of examples from the football team. It's just stupid.

College kids packing weapons is a big new flash too! Wait no its not!

These kids are Division 1 athletes on the a top 20 team in the nation. Whether you like it or not, they are held to a different standard(by the media, fans, and the athletic department) than a gun wielding, pot smoking freshman sitting in his dorm room watching Cheech and Chong movies. They are provided a full scholarship and can have easy sailing as long as they are responsible in their actions, but sometimes they aren't responsible and this is an example.

Just tell me what I missed.

I don't really care about the weed charge. It's not for me, but I get it. Rolling with weed and weapons, regardless of style, last night with every cop on earth out was just retarded.

Too bad it was at noon today.
