Thread title is misleading.

UT stopped allowing a Bama alumni group from meeting in a UT facility after a complaint about "Roll Tide" cheer. They asked the group to schedule it elsewhere from now on. It's not like they physically threw out a Bama fan.

Why were they there to start with? A prospect touring the campus hearing chants of Roll Tide? The way they publicly clowned Phillip Fulmer? This should NEVER have taken place in the first place. Knoxville is PLENTY big enough for these clowns to find a place to meet.

Thread title is misleading. It wasn't one fan. It was a small group of the entire damn herd. The more the better.

Roughly 60 or so alums meet once a month to hold business meetings and raise scholarship money for local students who want to attend Alabama.

screw them. It's a state-funded UT building not a bammer recruiting center

Never knew this went on. Why would any college allow a rival to hold meetings on campus? I guarantee the vols weren't meeting on Bama's campus.

“Alabama is big on tradition, and we had a great tradition here in Knoxville,” Bailey said. “But they don’t want us anymore.”
