Yea, Vegas clearly anticipated money coming on Vols at a pick em’ or -1.5 so they went -2.5, and even still money is on Vols and they’re trying to get it 50/50. So as you ask, the question is why are sharps/big money on Tennessee?

Typically they’ve got a clue on injuries so makes you wonder if Bediako is out and JJJ & Phillips are playing? That’s one explanation. The other more general explanation is just that Top 10 teams on the road against ranked teams have not faired well this year, can’t remember the stat but it’s sub .500 iirc.

Even if the Vols were getting 3-5 points, I wouldn't touch it. We are just in a slump and have the injuries you mention. Hopefully, we come out of it by end of month.

If Phillips is playing hurt, not sure I wouldn’t prefer him rest and get ready for March. Would be awful to have him aggravate the injury even further tonight.

From what I understand, his injury is primarily a matter of pain-tolerance. Doesn’t sound like there is significant potential for further injury.
