Does this mean no more read option in the future?

In the NFL, many think the read option is just a passing phase. However, more and more teams are running variations of it. And it is being done with both the pro style guys and the dual threat guys.

That is why Jones going after both type of QB is not so surprising. The game plan can be adapted to each "individual's" gifts. However, I do think he will be looking closely at the pro style guys foot speed. We have had too many slow guys, and I believe he will address that at the QB position as well.

Don't want no pro style qb, no wait. Don't want no running qb, oops. Don't want no throwing qb. To heck with it, get back in the single wing and direct snap it to one of the rb's.
