looks like UT is the only one in the top 10 with no conference championships since 1998

I think we are top 2-3 all time players in pros.

This goes back to '98. So, it's still impressive considering that for many of the last 14 years we have been garbage or vastly underachieved.

these rankings make it all the more sad that we haven't stayed in or very close to the top 10 year in and year out! Like we have historically!

We are going to be back though and soon. Within' 2-3 years with Butch!

I think we are tied with bammer and Florida for most all-time first round picks, 43 I believe.

My bad, that was SEC rankings.

maybe we finally have a coach that is able to get talent and get the best out of it. Hasn't happened since '98, so we are freaking due.

Tennessee is ranked #6 in first round draft picks(past 20 years. SEC leader and #7 in total NFL draft picks(330). The article is on utsports.com

Does this make you feel good or bad about the Vols? It shows that either this list is skewed from the early years of the survey or that UT has vastly underachieved on the field...or both.

It's because you negative-ass jockeys ushered out the coach who made this happen for us after a few mediocre seasons.

If you think it would have stayed this bad under Fulmer, you probably licked your lead paint covered walls as a toddler.

What we were? Have you paid attention to the draft at all?

We have 2 first rounders this year alone. If Dooley wasn't a moron, we would have had 4 in Darick Rogers and Tyler Bray.

Sadly, like most things from Georgia, he can't perform when it matters and will be 3rd tier forever.
