What a joke we are...we have played 5 games, and only played one half of football.

The coaching staff is terrible, the players have no enthusiasm, and they have no clue what is going on out there. The only reason we aren't 0-5 is the fact that we out athleticise UAB and Ole Miss...


BOTTOME LINE IS THAT WE SUCK BIG TURDS!

I will be watching UT-Martin for the rest of the year and hope to see the UT scores and just chuckle when they get their ass handed to them at Alabame and Notre Dame!
7-4 has Music City Bowl written all over it.....what a joke!

You are not a Vol fan. Yes, we are ALL disappointed and we are being negative because we hurt. But NONE of us have turned our back on our team. Go on and watch UT Martin, but don't come back on here when we BEAT Alabama AND Notre Dame and celebrate.

I like your enthusiasm. If we only win one of those games I hope it is Bama. Maybe Fulmer can talk D.C. into doing some temp work just to help us put some schemes together for the Bama game? :question:

Bandwagon fans....who needs em. It is easy to be for a winner, but hard to stay with em when they struggle. Good to see some hope in some fans. Go Big Orange! great thread LIO (your other more upbeat thread)

It's really difficult to see our team struggle the way they are. When they carted Jason off the field Saturday, I cried. It was so heartbreaking to see this great young man go down his senior season. He was such a leader for us. It seems as though the team is going to fight through this, and keep playing for each other. As fans, they need our unconditional support no matter what.

Who wants some action on beating Alabama and Notre Dame...put your $$$$$$$$$ where your mouth is! What makes you think we can win a football game.....Let me hear who wants some!

IT IS TIME PHIL WENT BACK TO FRANKLIN CO....WE WISH WE HAD AN URBAN MEYER OR A STEVE SPURRIER ON OUR SIDELINES. AT LEAST WE WOULD TAKE SOME CHANCES OFFENSIVELY! WE LOOK LIKE A TEAM OUT OF THE 50S AND 60S WITH WHAT WE RUN ON OFFENSE. WE ARE A JOKE, AND EVERYONE KNOWS IT, DON'T BE BLINDED BY THE ORANGE COLORS

South Carolina will give us a fit JUST because they have a guy that is not scared of the freakin dark!

What a JOKE this team is!!!!!!!

I think we all support the team and will be cheering our guts out at every game..but the coaching staff is fair game. OUR tax dollars..MILLIONS OF THEM, are paid to our coaches to help OUR student athletes to become the best they can be and when those coaches continue to make the same mistakes (for 7 years!) we are rewarding failure and I don't condone tax dollars being spent that way and shame on any that would condone robbing the state that way!

I would like to see what % of out tax dollars go to the coaches salary and what % comes from game revenue and tuition etc. It should be public record. Then I could make an educated judgement on how the coaches should be handled.

i hate you...

i go to alot of the games and i live 12 hours away from knoxville.

i had to go to the game and watch us lose and if i knew where you where i would like to kick your ass...(go to hell for saying that about my vols)

Does it hurt ya'll for me to say that we are an over rated team that is UNDERACHIEVING for whatever reason!

TJ...take your ass to Alabama, and say what you got to say to the team, when they get off the bus! :birgits_giggle: And then be careful as you drive home pissed off at the way we played....or if a miracle occurs, and we play well, then the what-ifs will be circulating again.....what if we had played better against Florida and Geargia, what if they hadn't KICKED OUR ASS! :banghead:

According to reports both EA and RC had to be talked out of it by teir parents. What effect if any do you think this has had on them and the team?

erik ainge is the key. he is hte future. if he plays to potential, we may win it all in 2007 look at our scheudle. we need one offensive player to step it up. thats all there is. a breakout game by riggs coupled w/ a big game from ea would probably boost our team's season.

If we lose to both Bama and ND I'll still be shouting till my ears bleed come the next game, fairweather fans make me sick, if you own anything orange you should take it all to Goodwill now! You don't deserve to wear the Orange!
