Taxes don't fund the UTAD. That is why they had to ask the univ. for a loan earlier this year. It is one of the few that are self-sufficient.

All decisions on salaries start w/ Hamilton.

Well, Wes, I hope none of the players see what you have wrote, because in my opinion you are a disgrace to this board. A true Vols fan loves their team no matter what and in my heart we will always be winners! So, until you uniform up and get your rump in the game, then you have no right to judge anyone!

hmmm... let's see.... Urban Meyer just got his !@# handed to him courtesy Alabama 31-3 and Spurrier has lost to Georgia, Auburn and Alabama by a combined score of 102-36. You are beginning to sound like a bama fan :crazy:

well then just dont pay any attention to them next year when we go 13-0 then cause now we can see you are clearly a fairweather fan and not willing to support your team through the rough times and i really dont see how you can say our guys aren't playing with enthusiasm when that is the very thing that won the lsu game for us.

Because I support my team and coaches I'm a troll?According to some of your other posts that makes me a loyal fan. Which is it? One minute you "loyal fans" are complaining about your coaches, players and how horrible they are...then the next ya'll are proclaiming "We'll beat Bama!". If ya'll are going to beat us...the players and coaches aren't too bad. If you do beat us we'll still be happy with our coaches and players...we're still coming off probation and not full strength.

With the talent that we have had the last fews years. Spurrier would have won more than 1 national title! AND WOULD BE 5-0 THIS YEAR RIGHT NOW!

Spurrier is an old has been. He left the SEC because the other teams figured out how to beat his gimmicky system. He sucked in the NFL and now he sucks in the SEC. Let me point out that Spurrier NEVER went undefeated with all the talented teams he had at Florida. He backdoored his way into a national championship too.

Give me a coach who can line 'em up and smash mouth the other team without having to use gimmicks. When a team uses alot of trick plays, it shows lack of confidence in the players' abilities.

Although, he did take a less talented team into Athens and lost by 2 points to the Dawgs. I know that a loss is a loss, but Spurrier's Gamecocks looked much better against Georgia than the Vols did. And ya'll played them at home!

I suspect Wes is nothing more than a Bammer or Gator posting under the moniker of being a Vol. If not, I would hesitate in ever using the label "fan", when refering to him. If in fact he is a Vol "fan", how pathetic and embarrassing for his allegiance to be questioned in an open forum.

Casey Clausen was a very solid SEC QB, but if you think Spurrier (or even freakin' Vince Lombardi) would have won a National Championship with him at QB then you are on non-perscription drugs.
