Tennessee Lady Vol News

She was running the floor nicely in that game. She was being used as a post player, not a perimeter player. Looking forward to seeing how she fits in with this year's team - what role she'll play.

An inside player that can step out for catch and shoot threes would be her best potential TN role to me.

That makes some sense. On her national team, she was asked to go up against larger, stronger American post players. She held her own pretty well down low, seemed to give almost as good as she got. But didn't seem to be able to hit midrange shots when she was open away from the basket.

if Azzi Fudd is injured and made the U19 roster is just another example of UConn husky guards making USA rosters while injured

Isn't this horse that everyone has been beating dead yet? LOL. Seriously though, she was in Storrs in July with everyone else, so if she was injured I don't think Geno would have let her go. She was nursing a slight sprain, maybe they are just waiting for the real games to start. On the BY none of us get any inside info, all speculation, so when something like this happens we get a little concerned. Just like you guys, November can't come too soon.

Class Rankings -- 2021 -- Winter 2020 | Prospects Nation

Guess this is the final 2021 class rankings from Prospect Nation we finish number 9 in the nation and number 2 in the SEC.

2021 women's college basketball recruiting class rankings: UConn moves up with Azzi Fudd signing

Number 15 and 3rd SEC Hoopgurlz ranking. Gives us a composite number 12 National Ranking for 2021

I don't know if you want to add this

The Collegiate Girls Basketball Report by Dan Olson ranked the class as No. 5 in the country with South Carolina, Connecticut, Stanford and North Carolina rounding out the top. Olson handled the Hoopgurlz rankings for years before ESPNW went with Premier Basketball over the summer.

He used to run Hoopgurlz.

Lady Vols ink No. 5 class in the country

Sure would add it never knew about this one. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

So that would be 15. 9. 5 for 29 which would mean a top ten class. Lol that is what everyone said they wanted so why we got so many complaining about recruiting?

I think Wynn is going to be able to contribute more than the freshman last year and I thought Marta and Destiny both had some bright spots.

I have a feeling Striplin may play a bigger role than expected as well. She really seems to be a vocal leader in practice.

I've got a very strong feeling you're both right

Wonder how it was possible that were playing on the road again at Georgia and South Carolina. I do like the home and home with Arkansas, Vandy, and Bama. Bama seemed to have lost a lot hope we can beat them twice. Vandy may be tough on the road should win both but definitely at home. Arkansas same could win both we should be able to take them at home. Kentucky at home will be a big game we need to win. Hopefully full schedule will be up soon.

Vandy lost nearly all of their top players and have yet to receive a transfer that can fill in the void we should beat them easily

I know but they could have the Lost little girls of the poor and give us a tough game at their place. I am hoping for two wins there they are counted in my 12 SEC wins.
worried about Ole Miss and LSU who brought back everyone although Ole Miss lost veteran PG Valarie Nesbitt who went pro but had some nice wins from the transfer portal

Ole Miss on the road I counted as a loss. I think we can take LSU at home will be a close game. LSU is a very strong team combining some Baylor players with several last year returnees.
