I agree with this, which is why it should be a forfeit. They may not like the protocols or agree with them but for now it's what they have to do and if a game is canceled because they flipped them off, then that's on them. And if it was at an official Memphis event, then the university should be fined.

Barnes is never going to play Memphis again if this "team was out partying" theory turns out to be true.

If true, he absolutely shouldn’t. I’ve been a proponent of NEVER playing them in any sport as we gain nothing from it other than having to put up with their worthless fan base. And I’ve never deviated from that sentiment. If true, this just puts icing on that cake. Renegade program that never should be scheduled.
