Game was everything I thought it would be from a competition standpoint... All came down to really a couple of plays that State made you you guys didn't. There is alot to be said for 4th/5th yr juniors and seniors that have had almost total continuity and consistent coaching/improvement over their entire careers. In the previous 3 seasons, we almost assuredly find a way to lose this game...which gives me empathy for what you guys are going through now, with being so close without ever being able to quite break through.

I thought we played much better against the pass than I expected. Especially when you consider that we didn't get much pressure on Bray. Autry was a non factor. The time Patterson beat Slay on the td pass was just an NFL play... wasn't much anyone could have done to stop that one. Our pass rush was pretty bad, and tackling was not good either. You guys are a MUCH better running team than I expected, even after I know that Neal had been putting up yards. Saw that first hand last night.

Good luck in your games going forward. Hope you put one on Alabama this week in Neyland... and at least soften them up good for us in two week!

Congrats to you guys. State gained a lot of respect IMO. Always love going down to Starkville. Great atmosphere.

Congrats State fans...I thought we would win this one and was wrong.

Big mistakes cost us the win.

Your QB has really impressed me this year, he is very good.

He probably just uses his alter now. He said he would bump the thread after the loss under his real screen name. A Tennessee fan following the loss bumped it and their location was like New Haven, Mississippi or something.

Sorry there was some dumbass poser with nothing better to do than make your Miss St. fans look stupid. He did a really good job of that. I'm not going to miss the 10 threads he started a day in the music and movie forum, that's for sure. "Britney had lunch", "Lindsay went shopping", "Paris did an interview" etc. Oh and then there was "Spice Girls vs Hanson" and "Liam Hemsworth vs. Drake Bell". Those obviously weren't the actual postings but they were pretty damn bad.

But yeah... best of luck to you guys the rest of the way. Hope you guys enjoy your jumbotrons. :p
