This team has to win either against Florida or Mizzou, maybe both since they're in TBA. Beating aTm isn't a monumental win. Vandy handled them a couple of weeks back. Just have to keep winning!

I don't really care what announcers say. But yeah, I guess I've gotten used to the butt kissing Uk gets sometimes.

I'd love to see us in the NCAA Tournament, but we'll have to continue this momentum. I fear we'll do the same Tuesday on the court that I've watched our Vols do for years against Florida: come in and lay a huge egg. It's become a syndrome, I think. Something that Coach Martin and Coach Jones will have to work hard to break. I hate Florida more (well almost) than the Taliban ... losing to them drives me crazy. Although I suppose that in basketball I should be referring more to UK, but hey, I'm mainly a football fan. Go Vols!

Lay an egg? Martin swept Florida last year (2-0 so far), Pearl lost, maybe 5, in his time here, one without Lofton. Even Buzz had good success against the Gators.

Yikes. This what happen when football fans try to be basketball fans. We are 10-5 against UF in basketball in the last 7 years with some impressive wins in Gainesville.

A&M is a Top 100 road win. One that we had to get. Standing alone, we don't have to beat UF or Missouri, but I agree we need to win one. If you want to get to the Tourney, it's not always about a monumental win. You have to beat solid teams and add some road wins.

Vandy beat them at home. UT swept Vandy's ass.

A & M beat Mizzou and Ole Miss at home. We didn't beat Ole Miss at home. Mizzou game is still to be decided. A & M has been up and down like a lot of SEC teams. Their worst loss at home is to UGA. They also somehow won at Ky. Too many average to below-average teams in the SEC this year to make any sense of it.

Turner also had 37 at home in the Ole Miss win. I think I read that he broke his own arena record for points in a game against us. But, of course, he needed 20 extra minutes.

Can you imagine that guy on a Bruce Pearl team?

He averages 17 ppg this season. Pearl had a guy like that his last season at UT. A lot of people called that kid a bust. Just saying.
