So how the hell does this "school " work? Are parents paying $50,000 a year for their kids to go there? I know it's been around for years but only recently in team sports. Used to be a golf and tennis factory.

Scholarships, just like college Id say. Not all of those kids come from money.

Getting into the top schools in the country is the thing I love most about our recruiting.

Dang. Here is the tuition for the high schoolers
Edit. Does this free up 20 Schollys for future, since the parents can afford tuition?

I'd be shocked if there wasn't a deal that can be put in place where families of kids who show athletic promise are given the opportunity to save money on the front end with a guarantee of large donations if they make it big. No way all these families can drop that much cash.

Every kid on their team is recruited to go there and play football!!! They have kids from all over the country!!! Also 90% of the kids are on scholarship to play there it's just like a college..I bet you all the starters are on scholarship and the rich kids that want to be on the team are not

Pretty awesome of Butch. Guarantano played against them earlier in the year and scored more points on them than any other team they played. They play a lot of top teams in the country. I guess these kids sacrifice the joys of playing for state titles and going to regular highschools to train year around with top talent.

There probably isn't even a guarantee of large donations in place. Just the exposure of housing the best athletes in the country is enough to rake in that same caliber of athlete year after year, which comes with its own perks (tv exposure, apparel deals, big-time boosters, etc.).

Michigan is all hat, no cattle.

One (1!) NC since 1948, and it ('97) was split with Nebraska.

These recruits won't play much for Harbaugh anyway. After a 3rd spanking by Urban Meyer, Harbaugh's off to the NFL.

They're claiming they beat the "#2 SEC team" in the Citrus Bowl. Who's dumb enough to swallow that one?
