Honestly I dont know but I was very adimant on her being here nxt season since the rumblings started. I didn’t think Phil would pull the trigger being his first year and thier relationship with Pat especially

Phil was the AD this time last year and he extended her.....

We should appreciate what she brought to the Lady Vols as a player and assistant. Her not being up to the task of filling Pat's shoes does not take away from those other achievements.....

with Holly's history with the Lady Vol program how could anyone not want her to succeed...she was given the opportunity...she couldn't get it done, but she was a Lady Vol and assistant under a legend, which is very difficult to follow...I only wish her the best of luck...and,

GO LADY VOLS!

I know I'm late to the discussion, but now that Hollie is out.I have been a fan of Waltz for a long time. I was of the opinion that to let HW go, we needed to have an verbal agreement with someone better beforehand! JW fits the bill for me! JMO I hope he is the new coach at some point!

Glad they pulled the trigger. That being said, she will coach again somewhere. When you look at what she did do her resume isnt all that bad.

Warlick finished 172-67 with the Lady Volunteers, winning the Southeastern Conference in 2013 and 2015. She advanced to the NCAA tournament in all seven of her seasons, advancing to the Elite Eight in 2013, 2015 and 2016

It had to be done....Finally.

I'm positive she knew that fact was staring her in the face. You could almost tell by looking at her during some games that she knew the writing was on the wall. She held on as long as she could but....bye bye.

That tweet is unnecessarily generous to Holly. We made the tournament this year by the skin of our teeth and quickly were shown the door. She didn't need to make a Final Four to keep her job, just not get to where we're at now.
Is there really a need to dog her? She followed a legend, very difficult to do. No major embarrassments off the court she just couldnt get it done on the court.
