He solved him on the third Saturday in October. He is 1-1 against him with inferior rosters and was competitive into the 4th quarter of both games. Saban is of course Saban and may be expected to win some but Heupel has matched wits well with him so far.Solved Saban? So you are saying the days of us losing to Saban are over?
Welp that's all assuming our O keeps on rolling. I hope Milton shines and defense holds!!!!Agree but I think the top end of UT's potential is when the D can reduce the number of plays and 1st downs they allow per possession along with a "good" point per drive number.
It would be great to see an elite ppg number but I don't think that's a good metric for a Heupel team. To me the best metric is how quickly they can get the ball back to the O while keeping points/possession at a reasonable level. Long drives allow opponents to dictate the game to UT and wears the D down.
