Tennessee should not be ranked

What have they done to be ranked? They've played 1 decent game at Mizzou. That shouldn't put you in the top 10. They got ran at home by bama and now got trashed by 25 at an undermanned Florida. They looked like they didn't want to be there.

This is a badly overrated team and will be lucky to make it out of the first weekend come March.

Little over dramatic aren’t you. Also beat Colorado which is a good team. They deserved to be ranked, maybe not 6th but should be ranked.

You mention that Florida was "undermanned". Well, couldn't you say the same thing about Tennessee without Jaden Springer? Why is it the less frequent posters only seem to come out after a bad loss, and are always over the top with their negativity? I agree it was a horrid performance... but you are doubled over with the blues. It's one game in January.

Tn sports is enough to make you want to stick to pro sports. This is just typical TN. And Barnes spared no IRE for the boys. Ticket may start over Keon. We always get the 5 stars that are Now and Then 5s.

I will make a prediction, if the Vols do not get their act together on defense, become more aggressive on the boards as well as hit free throws, then they will lose to Mizzou and start a significant losing streak......They could not defend against the Bama and Florida layup lines and dunk fests, so the template is out on how to beat the Vols pretty easily. Barnes will not change his defensive philosophy to suit the game plan or opponent, a stretch zone would have benefitted the team last night......

They've earned a ranking just not top 10. More like a 15-20 team. Just too many holes in their game to be a serious contender for the SEC crown.

Tennessee has a Top 3 defense nationally, defense was hardly their biggest problem last night...not claiming it was great but offense was worse than the defense.

That’s a little bit of an extreme overreacting. LOL. Now, I’m not sure this team is a top 10 caliber team right now. But definitely should be ranked. Last night was a combination of a couple of things. For one...we lacked energy. Big time. A great example of that was early in the game JJ got an offensive rebound and took the ball out to the top of the key but was just really loose with the ball and had it way out in front of him. It was so obvious that it was going to get stolen from him. It didn’t and led to a quick score. Was just one of these games where it felt like our guys weren’t exiting to play. Also, it felt like ever bounce went their way. That might’ve had something to do with the energy. But there were multiple times when Florida got 2 or 3 offensive boards in a row and eventually hit a big shot yet we’d been in position to get those rebounds. Sometimes the ball just bounces predominantly in the favor of one team

The VOLS obviously didn’t play up to their ranking last night. They are worthy of a ranking but not in the top ten based on what we saw yesterday (maybe 12-15). One loss in the regular season is not the end of the world. It is better to take a L like this now instead of later in the year. Perhaps this team needed to be humbled because all the coaches and players sh1t the bed in Gainesville (especially Barnes). Hopefully the beating they took last night is motivation to not suck moving forward.
