When she went into the dugout she immediately went behind a door but before it closed you could see her in tears. She was obviously in a lot of pain.

Guessing Bama will start Salter tonight. She did throw close to 50 pitches last night after Fouts went out. So it’ll be interesting to see how long she goes tonight.

I got busy and had to break away from watching softball before Fouts went down. Gawd, I hope it's not serious and she can be back healthy to resume her amazing career. She deserves to have the opportunity to go out strong.

If they can find 85 for football they can find the resources to make all sports. Make it 20 for softball and 30 for baseball. And that includes the low D1 non power 5.

The problem is really the other conferences and smaller schools who don't want it. The Big Ten especially is against it

Whatever it is it didn’t look good. I don’t care who she plays for, like you, I never want to see a player get hurt. It’d be awful if this is how her collegiate career ends.

Stated it a few weeks back in regards to pitch counts. If a pitcher has to throw 100 pitches in a game, she’s probably thrown 50-75 warm ups, if she goes all 7 innings, probably another 21 pitches. A 100 pitch count game turns in 200-250 pitches of body impact for the day. Do it 2-3 times a week and you’re punishing yourself. Not just your arm/shoulder, but your hips, knees and ankles. Years of doing this takes its toll.

Have watched a lot of SEC, Big 12, ACC, and other games this week. We are SO fortunate to have Ashley, Payton, and Karlyn. When other teams go to their #2s and 3s the fireworks start for the other teams. Only OKLA from what I’ve seen matches our staff. I hope we find 1 in the portal so we can do it again next year. Go LVs let’s get after it tonight!!!

They were also behind the removal of the training table and the death of athlete's only dorms.

The Big 10 doesn't put baseball or softball as a priority in their sports programs so therefore puts minimal dollars and actually works to keep the NCAA from adding more scholarships.
