Vawter to Florida wouldn’t be a shock. That’s been a rumor for a while now. That would also be by far the best pitching duo in the country, plus they being in the top rated pitcher. Thankfully Vawter and Maxwell will only be there one season

OU is pretty desperate for another pitcher so they probably gave Keeney a good NIL deal. I still think she likes UT more but in today’s world money talks in college sports…which sucks.

Kern has been rumored to Washington for a while. The theory for her waiting so long was to see if she could get into Stanford or not.

Nugent is a good addition, but the MTSU player is pretty meh. Not a great portal session given we just came off making it to the semis. Better hope White came step up an contribute, although I don’t have my hopes up.

hey all I can say is if Karen (and Ralph) at the time can get the 2015 team with no true ace (Gabriel, Gaffin, Tarango, and Aucoin) to the WCWS, we can do anything. Although the game has changed with a little bit of luck and some players stepping up who knows if that could happen again

Payton is an Ace. Karlyn? Remains to be seen. Charli? Not a bad third option. Step it up, Ladies!

This is my true opinion. PG is definitely the returning ace, but I think if KP can develop a curveball and get her control issues under control she could take over the ace role. I think if Charli can stick to her drop and really perfect it then she can take on the role of a midweek starter and close out or give some SEC teams a different look mid game. RW is a midweek for sure. We have to w offense to be able to give up a few runs so I think letting Charli and RW work through it without pulling them so quickly, now if they’re giving up 3-5 runs I’d say pull them but if we don’t get a pitcher you have to invest in what you got

Pretty clear obstruction, per mlb. Don’t know exactly how the softball rule is written. The fielder was obstructing the base when she caught the ball.

They did not fire anyone. The entire staff, save for the head coach, including several off field support staffers, all left on their own or moved to other responsibilities in the athletics department. A couple of their transfer portal pick ups are now considering other options. Not anybody Tennessee would want necessarily, but there is a lot of turmoil in that program right now.
