I don’t think that was the intention, it was clear yesterday and Pickens was not in a groove on some pitches and left a couple over the plate.

No I do not expect no hitters every game but if you have watched this weekend so far she and Gotshall have not been as sharp as usual. Ask them and I sure they would tell you that also. Yes the standard is high for them because they are great.

Please show me where I said that Pickens was not great on friday? Was it what we expect from her because of how she has pitched lately, no however she did just enough. Looked how she pitched on friday and compare it to her last 5 starts…even Karen said it in the in-game interview that she just wasn’t as sharp as she usually is hence the change to PG mid game. The same thing with PG today, she just wasn’t as sharp as she usually is and left a couple pitches over the plate and it got hit hence the change of Charli which turned out to be a good decision.

Is there any chance of the Memphis game being on ESPN+? Does Columbia , Tn. have those capabilities?

No. The cost of rolling a broadcast truck with crew is about $50k, plus talent. Would likely be some hotel cost as well. since there isnt a local crew in Columbia, it would be a group from Nashville or Huntsville.
