My pet peeve for softball is taking a third strike. Any player who did that would be sitting on the bench for the rest of the game immediately after. My team might lose some games early in the season because of that, but the real competitors would learn pretty quickly. There is no excuse for not taking a swing if it's close. None.

Taylor is not a good base runners. You have to break down the line and when the pitcher fields the ball and turns her back to you, you score. You teach that at 10 years old
