Right now it looks like Doyle would sit unless she starts hitting. Has to play her way back with offense. .083 right now.

She had it and looks like she is going to keep it. Good news the freshmen are good pitchers too nice to have depth in pitching for a change.

next week will be a big answer to that question. Believe she’ll be the #2 regardless based on her experience. The concern is will she be good enough against SEC/better teams to take pressure off Karlyn. The freshman are a ways to go, showing good things and showing freshman things. Not sure either is SEC ready but can give a few innings here and there. Next weekend will be a good litmus test of where they are as a team heading into SEC soon.

Yes, she is #2. The two freshmen are 3&4 and Charli is next. Sage is a good pitcher who should end with a great record if the offense plays to its potential. Same for the Freshmen. Karlyn is the superstar.

If TayPans bat does not cool off, she'll be in the POW discussion every week. She'll win more than her fair share of awards. She is a special player.

Lot of options with pitching this year with four pitchers that are all reasonbly effecitve. You could use a freshman as an opener for a couple innings then bring on Karlyn or Sage at that point to limit some innings. Looking at the SEC going to be just like basketball almost every weekend every game a battle. I really don't see as many weak teams in softball as there is in women's basketball. Best league in softball for sure.

That staff went to the WCWS as SEC Champs. How quickly we forget. Not sure this staff is in that conversation today.
