Didn’t get to but the last inning but seems we were in control Charli seem to have a rough spot. Pitching for the tournament was quite good good enough to sweep with better defense. Offense as a whole was good except when facing Bahl. Good overall outcome with some promising freshmen. Hope Boo is ok.

Two runs 0 earned for Orsini big errors still a problem.

They did what they should have done against the level of competition after Nebraska. Learning opportunity against Neb. of what not to do against a pitcher that won’t give up too many runs. Good to see the youth play early and next weekend will be key them getting more time. In two weeks roles will start to be defined in CA. Concerning was the older girls not playing.

Great opening weekend! Looks like the freshmen class going to contribute immediately and there are going to be 6-7 Jr/Srs with only spot roles. I didn’t see Aubrey Barnhart at all. Did she make trip?

Still need to figure the pitching staff out a lot a questions with the up and down performances. Poor Charli. Defensively we made too many mistakes to complete in the SEC. Need to tighten things up.

Who sits when Boo comes back. That’s a tough call because the girls that are hitting all play the same positions. We are so top heavy at a couple of positions

Instead figure out pitching we need to tighten the D up. Pretty pleased with the pitching. Even Charli got bit. Like the hitting approach so far. I didn’t realize the talent in the freshmen class it is nice that you don’t have to be told it you came see it.

We probably don’t have the #2 like Payton but it appears everyone is solid can’t say that about the bid ten teams overall we played.

I’m really excited coming out of the weekend! The mixture of experience and new talent was really fun to watch, and they’ll only get better as they settle into roles and get more comfortable. It’s always a thrill to see freshmen balling out and knowing we’ll have four years of watching them grow and thrive on Rocky Top.

Right now I think the hitting and scoring runs is going to be a lot better. They leave Morgan up at the top of the lineup she is going to get on base over 40 percent of the time steal second and score on a single. She can easily score on a double from first base. The pitching still have some concerns. The freshmen looked fine against these teams we played SEC is a whole new game. Pickens still not showing the command I was hoping was behind in the count to way to many batters although she seems to overcome it with the teams we played.You can't get behind SEC hitters and have them sitting on must throw strikes. I really don't know if Sage can hold that number two spot effectively we'll see. Hopefully both freshmen can keep it going all season.

No I actually got a little ahead of myself meant the games in California were on Flo. Right now there is no stream showing for any of the Texas games just the two Louisana games on ESPN plus. Sorry for posting that wrong.
