Saviya Morgan saved the game in center field in the seventh inning with that great catch. Great defensive move by Karen to put Morgan in center field. It's as if Weekly knew that was coming. Not saying Kinsey Fiedler couldn't have made the catch but Morgan showed how it was done, tracking the ball perfectly. Another great outing by Karlyn against a top-15 team.

I thought it was Fielder at the time and wondered how she caught it. She has trouble with routine fly balls. Glad Morgan was there don't think Fielder catches that ball.

Some hard hit balls right at players and Duke also made some defensive plays. I thought we were getting ready to have a big inning against that first pitcher and they made a change. Smart move by their coach to change it up on us.

I like to see us get four or five runs when Pickens or anyone pitches to relieve some pressure on the pitcher and the defense. One was enough this time.

Over the last two seasons, I wonder how many runs our offense averages per game when we have Pickens on the mound? I realize that we're probably facing their ace as well, but good Lord the girl could use some run support.

Pickens has a team full of batting champions behind her in comparison to what Monica Abbott often had. Y'all remember how excruciating it was to watch her career end the way it did? I'm still traumatized. 😥

I still remember Ralph afraid to open his eyes...The announcers tore into him....Monica was brilliant until the end...Terrible loss.....We had too many slappers, not enough hitters.

That was the moment that did me in with the Weekly's coaching. I knew at that point Candraia was going to out coach up and win in championship. We had the better team. Arizona had the better coach. I still love the Lady Vols softball program just cannot let the expectations get to high every year.

Looking at the UConn pitchers they have one with a 1.11 era and everyone else is over 5.
They worked Middle Tennessee over pretty good don't know how good they are this season.
I'm thinking we should win all three games maybe a run rule or two all starts tomorrow.

Should be similar to Duke as that’s where the Valentino came from as far as philosophy and makeup.

UT said on utsports.com that due to inclement weather expected on Saturday that there will be a doubleheader on Friday with UConn starting at 5 pm with second game at around 7:30. Saturday's ticket will get you into the 7:30 game. Sunday's game is still at noon.
