LSU's Coach is a poor sport and The SEC needs to suspend her for a series, Forfeit the game vs UK and the Umps at the game suspended for the season

That games doesn't effect the polls this week, but it will next week. Games for the Polls the Games from Monday thru Sunday count for the poll that comes out on Tuesday

That may be. But the Monday games counted last week, at least in the ESPN poll. Georgia won 2 games on Monday against Arkansas to go to 22-1. That is the record that was listed in the poll that came out last week.

Definitely a bush league move by the LSU coach. Umpires blew it and should be suspended by the SEC. It wasn't raining that hard at the time of suspension and they knew it was only going to get worse.

LSU down 7-0. Ky batting in bottom 4th. Need to play top of 5th to make official game. LSU coach went to umps and wanted a delay because of rain, which wasn't that hard. Got her way and Ky coach went nuts. Rain just got worse and they ended up canceling the game. No contest and cost Ky a win.

I didn't see the game. Is this what happened? LSU was down...it was raining...the coach asked the umps to call a rain delay...the umps agreed...and the LSU coach should be suspended?

First it was 7-0 UK, UK had a runner on 2nd 1 out and cheek at the plate and the PITCHER called the ump out for a talk, then after the ump gets back to homeplate LSU's coach comes out of the dugout to talk to him. He say continue play since its not raining that hard, talks to other umps and they agree. Then the LSU coach comes back out of the Dugout and complains and the ump then says clear the field without conferring with the other 2 because he was told by someone it would clear up in 10 minutes....( who? the only person he talked to was the LSU HC). As the LSU pitcher was leaving the field she was smirking and LSU's coach was also smirking because she has just fooled the ump into saving her team a run rule loss too UK. Within 40 minutes it was raining too hard to continue.


I've seen UT play in rain harder than the game last night when the players were sent off the field.


No Lightning so it was safe to play.


LSU's HC knew she had just conned the ump on purpose just to save a loss and you could see it in her body language and facial expressions.


UK's HC went ballistic so I bet it won't be the last we hear about this unless the SEC covers it up like the normally do.

A coach's job is to advocate for his/her team. If you are getting beat and it's raining-you try to talk the ump into a rain delay. If the ump made a bonehead call that's on the ump. In my opinion it's ridiculous to expect a coach to be suspended because she made her case to the ump. She had no power-she argued her case and won.

This is not golf-where you call infractions on yourself. If you get the benefit of a bad call you accept it. You don't ask the ump to change the call in the other team's favor. If you can talk the ump into a call that benefits your team, you do so.

You work the umps. You try to get calls go your way. You advocate for your team. The other coach does the same. It's the way the game works. Just my opinion

Working an ump is one thing but as far as I'm concerned it was bush league and she should be suspended for a weekend SEC series

SC has not lost at home this season so we need to be the first to put a loss on them there. Pitching this season has been outstanding for them their team ERA is around 1.60. They don't quite have the hitting that we do but their pitching seems to be equal.

Pretty sure Ralph and Karen are reminding the girls that a few years ago we went to South Carolina and lost 2 out of 3
