You are right but I think today is more justified and who is the batter ( bunter ) makes a difference.

My only concern with AA is that she lets a perfect first pitch go by most every at bat and puts her in the hole from the git go.

Yep that is about as stable as its going to get I think. If they had started Leach at SS from the git go I could have accepted that! That would mean we should have a fairly reliable 2nd baseman. Leach does not have the arm to play SS career wise but she will be more than adequate for the rest of her college days!
