The University of Tennessee baseball team (7-6) battled back from three different deficits before taking the lead for good with four runs in the eighth inning, including two on sophomore Charley Thurber's third home run of the season, in an 8-6 victory over Middle Tennessee State (8-4) Wednesday night at Reese Smith, Jr. Field in Murfreesboro. The Volunteers rode the arm of senior Steve Crnkovich who picked up his second win in four days with five strong innings of relief.

Regardless of how all of you " Negative Nancy's" feel about Coach Raleigh, those young men go out on that baseball field everyday and battle for the Tennessee Volunteers. Keep that in mind when you try to help our team by dazzling us with your ability to criticize the coach that they play hard for.

You're right people are criticizing the coach, and not the players.

If only you'd lettered, like me, your soap box would be validated.

This guy is a joke.

'Stormed back' (no offense Freak)? MTSU? Give me a break.

You "real fans" always come out of hiding at some point to take your rightful position as better than everyone else. Congratulations on not caring that Raleigh is running our program even further into the ground. It is not what the players deserve and I refuse to support him. I'll just bow to your superiority now. I applaud every win the players can get out of this season because it has to be ten times harder with such a doofus at the helm.

If you actually are a former letterman, congratulations. Based on your post, your uniform probably only got dirty when there was alot of dust on the bench.

It doesn't take a former letterman or a "true fan" to see that this team has some issues.

Yup, and most of us are bewildered how he can be continually screw up with the raw talent that is on the field.

in order for me to respond to your question, I need to be able to understand what the question is.

You can infer from the typo. Don't play dumb and just answer his question.

Although I'm sure he appreciates you defending his post, nobody called for a mediator. Now, run along until I address YOU directly. Thanks for your input.

If you do actually know, you would know your comment about beavbullvol's uniform was pretty stupid.

I actually thought it was pretty funny...I don't know who beavbullvol is. Did he play for Raleigh or Delmonico? My whole point is no matter how you feel about Raleigh, the players that suit up everyday for the Vols deserve our support. It's early in the season and I think the BaseVols have a chance to shock the world! GO VOLS!

Actually you were trying (emphasis on trying) to be funny with your "diss", and now you're changing your tune after it's been revealed how stupid it was to imply someone who lettered was a benchwarmer.

And there's not a single person here who doesn't support the Vols. We feel like they deserve a better leader, that's all.

Hi Hobock.

Actually, I won 4 letters, but I guess that's irrelevant.

I was drafted in the 6th round of the MLB draft so, yeah, I got a clue.

Thanks!
