Getting paid $500,000 to get handled by Oregon this year. That's the farthest thing I've ever seen from a fair game. This one could go into the triple digits, ladies and gentlemen.

might be worth watching just to laugh at Watson Brown walking around on the sideline with that window licker look on his face. Maybe he'll tell his fans they won the first half

They've played some big time talent every year lately. Been to Arkansas, Auburn, Georgia, TCU, Iowa, and Kansas St. It pays to get beat down every once in a while.

$500k is the standard fee I-aa programs charge to take an ass whooping

It won't go past 70ish points in oregon's favor

There won't be a scholarship on the field for the ducks by the time the forth quarter starts

I have a buddy who's buddy coaches on a IAA school. I know it's third hand, but he said there budgets are so low they barely break even. Factor in recruiting and they have to choose to go in the hole or not recruit enough to compete. His team also takes a big team every year. He said it's all about the money.

Usually the big team can use it to play 2nd and sometimes 3rd team guys in a game situation. Win win usaully.

Most 1-A programs barely break even most years.

I believe Auburn essentially bought our new field turf a few years ago. It is just our luck the year we played Iowa St in our D-IA game it was also the only year in their entire history they were sort of good when the had Seneca Wallace.

Those ass whippins over the last couple years have been the main source of income for the athletic dept. They have upgraded virtually every facility, field turf has already been mentioned. 5 or 6 years ago the weight room was worse than most high schools, now they have one of the best facilities in 1aa. Its made a huge difference in football, they won the conference title last year.

Also the players enjoy playing in a big time environment. A RB or QB might not enjoy their day, but they like seeing how they match up to the big boys. Last years Iowa game gave them a lot of confidence going into the OVC schedule. They hung in there and actually out rushed Iowa, but the top notch guys made big plays. Oregon will kill them but thanks for the half mil.

The i-aa schools also don't have expenses that many I-A programs do. Recruiting is far more regional and local, they usually do get that half million windfall from playing a big boy program, and a lot of services that are football specific at bcs programs get rolled into the whole varsity athletics program.

Georgia Southern scored more points against Bama than any other team last year.

Well you ran off. I was just curious what a traditional I-AA powerhouse putting up some points on you has to do with you throttling Georgia State in their first season ever.
