I don't know if he is a UConn fan as I am, but his response is BS. UConn is not invincible, although we UConn fans would like them to be. Like her or not Holly has a wealth of talent on this team now and will so no matter how long she remains at the helm. Unlike what some here and on The Boneyard believe the Lady Vols have a good chance at an upset evey time they'll play. There isn't a chance these young ladies, who know little about the past, will throw their sneakers on the floor and expect to lose. From what I saw from them last year they'll fight tooth and nail until the last bounce. I expect and hope all the games will be good and close.

Her and Geno could trade teams and Geno would still win. He is the difference in why UCONN crushes UT and not the players. CHW is no where near the coach Geno is and it will show on game day. Just as it has shown on the big stage each year since she took over. She just does not have what it takes to get the Lady Vols over the hump.

I was referring to the poster you had quoted, with the name "Need Orange" doofus. You told him/her to "take off the orange colored glasses". "Need Orange" explained earlier that he/she is a UConn fan.

Why doesn't UCONN play respectable conference basketball teams in a respectable conference. Playing horrible basketball programs all season long with 54 fans in the stands when you play on the road, is Embarrassing.

The Big Ten and ACC don't appear interested and so that leaves them with the AAC. The Big Ten chose Rutgers over UConn ... The ACC chose Louisville over UConn. Football drives the bus and their football program has no appeal.

If they can't get accepted into either the ACC or the Big Ten by the time Geno Auriemma retires, they will slowly fade away just like their men's team is doing. There is no heir apparent unless it's Chris Dailey, who is 58 years old and never been a head coach before.

What do you propose they do?

Do you think they stay in the American because they want to? Those $1M a year checks make them feel better about themselves than the $20M+ a year they could get in the Big Ten or ACC.

I would definitely think so. She has turned down several good offers from Power 5 schools and a lot of money to stay an assistant at UConn. I have no idea who they will get to follow Geno. He doesn't have a coaching tree to speak of.

Maybe true, maybe not. However that's completely beside the point. I love UConn, but their players put their shorts on one leg at a time just like your players do. I watched quite a few games your team played last year and I can't remember a one where they played like scared rabbits. Out of control, out of position, poorly coached? Yes. I say they'll enter this season playing with a certain tenacity all year and it'll carry over into the next. Honestly I've said many times on the BY how much I like the players on your team. You may not like the coach, but don't shortchange these young ladies. There's a lot of ballers on your squad.

The game is decided on the court by the players. Candace dunking at Uconn is one my favorite memories. arrrrrghhhhh!

To be the best, you have to beat the BEST! And know one knows that like true Lady Vols fan!

We have a 3 games wining streak.
