Kinda stupid. I grew up keeping all the tix from the games my dad took me to. Still have them.

Took my son to his first game this year. As a former Moc, but a diehard Vol, pretty cool experience.

Perfect comparison.

I hope we can win a football championship before the day he goes too far and becomes public enemy #1 in TN. You can’t scheme like Danny and not eventually become widely disliked.

Lol I've been on to Danny since Day 1. He's not a lifelong Vol, he doesn't feel a responsibility to tradition. Just a responsibility to profit. He's a man doing a job, and his job is to extract maximum revenue from Tennessee customers. He is very good at that. You have to be just shameless enough and have the right amount of chutzpah to push people over the line, and he's got that in spades. If anyone was confused about that, the garish private hotel that blocks the view of the Tennessee river from the stadium, and which is higher than the stadium to boot, should have clued them in.

And to be fair, Tennessee is not alone in this. As the sport professionalizes, the relationship schools have with the fan bases in their local communities will continue to trend away from tradition and into transaction. Therre's no stopping it now.

Didn’t want to start a new thread, but after seeing the cool AR function of the Bama ticket, I bought one of the Kentucky game “Dark Mode” tickets for my son (awesome game and experience by the way, we both loved it, and he’s all in on the Vols currently) It arrived last night, and we both downloaded the eventshop app (ios) but we could not get it to “scan” the ticket. There didn’t appear to be a button to press or anything. Has anyone else had problems? Did only the Bama ticket have the AR thing? Does it still work? Is there a trick I’m missing? The app itself is very limited in FAQ/Support. THANKS! FWIW, even without the AR component, I probably would have bought it.. it’s iffy though. It did come with a hard plastic sleeve to put the ticket in, despite me not purchasing the optional one on the site. I couldn’t tell if it was $33 for the case alone, or $8 additional dollars for a case/ticket combo. Didn’t research it too much though. We tried scanning both in and out of the sleeve without success. Sorry for the long post.

My Daughter got me my Alabama ticket for a birthday present and then bought a double sided glass frame to put it in.

She is a student and will graduate in May with a degree in Architecture.

I love the ticket and I'm very proud of her.
